Let’s hope Chris Paul returns to the court soon and that this is only a small problem. Over the course of the next week or so, CP3 will have plenty of time to recover if the Warriors are eliminated from the in-season tournament—though it goes without saying that they all hope otherwise.

Gary Payton II of Golden State was hurt in the second half with 49 seconds remaining in the third quarter. After the whistle, he hobbled to the locker room as the Warriors called a timeout to replace him. After that, Payton’s right calf injury kept him out of the game for the remainder of it.
