Shruti Haasan recently opened up about her sober experience and why she opted to give up drinking. She stated to Untriggered Aminjaz that, while she was never into drugs, she had always wanted to drink alcohol. She stated that she had been sober for eight years.

“I’ve been sober for eight years now,” Shruti explained. So, when you’re not drinking, it’s difficult to tolerate people at parties.” “I have no regrets, no hangovers, and it’s just been the best thing for me to be sober.”It could be a phase, or you might enjoy doing it for the rest of your life, which is wonderful,”she added.
Shruti Haasan : I was never into drugs
Shruti Haasan stated that she had never used drugs and went on to say, “I was never into drugs, but alcohol was a big thing in my life.” [After a while] It simply no longer served me in any positive way. I was [always] hungover, and I craved drinking with my pals. As a result, I felt more in command.” The actor revealed that she separated herself from those who continuously encouraged her to party, which increased her drinking problems. She stated, “This, too, is part of being sober.”
Shruti appeared in two Telugu films earlier this year. She appeared in Veera Simha Reddy, alongside Nadamuri Balakrishna, and Waltair Veerayya, alongside Chiranjeevi and Ravi Teja.
