Early on Friday morning, according to aerial views, a train derailment in northwest Atlanta, sparking a small fire at the scene.
11Alive has requested more information from the authorities. Information about the cause of the train derailment was not immediately available.
When the 11Alive SkyTracker flew over the scene, it was possible to see derailed rail cars bearing CSX rail company markings. Firefighting crews were visible from the air.
It looked to be near the Inman Train Yard, which is home to lines operated by Norfolk Southern and CSX.
A team from 11Alive is en route to the location.
